00:15 -- Amazing day. My video got featured on YouTube...

It is now nearing 30,000 hits. There are a lot of Pinoy ex-patriots missing their homeland.

Oh, yesterday I worked with Tom, first on a story about measles in Kansas, then we got sent to Carrolton Missouri because a national guardsman from there was killed in Bagdad....

JEFFERSON CITY — Pfc. Alva L. Gaylord, a member of the Missouri National Guard, died after an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle south of Baghdad, officials said Monday.

Gaylord, 25, of Carrollton, Mo., was a member of Company C, 110th Engineer Battalion, from Lexington.

He was operating an RG-31 Mine Protected Vehicle as part of a combat clearing operation Friday near Qasr Ar Riyy when he was killed, officials said.

Gaylord had been a member of the Guard about three years.
