23:57 -- Sitting at the puter putting off editing that Jeepney segment of our trip. It's a shame too, because with all the comments about what a Jeepney is, the video might help explain that. Today is my sisters birthday. Happy B'day Debbie. Yesterday I worked with Tom on a story about Myrna Dick, a woman who is accused of claim of false citizenship by the INS, and is being deported, now in 24 days. She has an american husband and child, her parents are american citizens as are many of her siblings, and she has been here since she was 12, but she is being deported. Congressman Cleaver is trying to intervene with some special legislation, but it doesn't look hopeful. The sucky thing is that if she could just stay until congress decides what it is going to do with the imigrant situation, she could probably stay legally. As it is, once she is deported, she will be banned for life from the US.

Today I worked with Peter on a story about a Hickman Mills school district elementary school principal being accused by a student of grabbing him by the throat.

Again, right now I'm sitting here contemplating doing something productive. Oops, Suyen just came home from woik. Gotta go....
