I was searching for bumpback shot locations as I had no reporter this morning. I came to Overland Park's downtown hoping the farmers market would be going. No luck on that by DTOP is fairly scenic first thing in the morning. I had to wait for a thunderstorm to pass before I could get a live out.

Speaking of googie, I believe this is an old Howard Johnsons in Olathe -- now a car dealer. Several of these have been taken over by Gates BBQ in the area.

After choich, we went with the choir to Amerirats. I composed this shot to create the illusion that this scene is real, as opposed to being a static display indoors
Day off. I slept for half the day. When I went to bed the night before I was still very illin. Suyen gave me some nyquil and I slept very soundly sweating and farting all night. I got up at about 0400 to have a diahrheah poo, and afterward I felt like I was feeling better. After gettting up at 13:00, I felt totally different, though still feeling some of the effects of the illness. I went to woik and filled out my timesheet. I went to Wife's Enemy #2 and got a switch for the bunn. I met Suyen at Yeegis, and we went to Cargo Lardass. Then we went to Crackerbarrel. I still don't feel up to eaating much but I had beef stew. Then we went to Yeegis for desert. I felt up to cherry pie and chi tea. Suyen talked to her mom who survived Typhoon "Frank", but the school needs some new roofing now. We headed homo, watched "king of the Hill" and went to bed.
