I'm with DFR. We headed to Lawrence -- Fraternity boy died of alcohol overdose. We drove to Lawrence. We got sound with the Intrafraternity Council rep. We headed back.

I got vittles at QT. I edited in Avid 4.

We drove back to Lawrence. We used Skype for our lives. The skype worked alright. I used my wireless that I bought at Cargo Largo for $83.00. I struggled with getting the skype hooked up at first. I couldn't get the audio to work. I figured out finally that there are two 1/8" outputs on my receiver and I was plugged into the mic output whereas I needed to use my line output. The distance from our car prohibited us from using the cars power inverter to try to set up lights. We set up on the sidewalk across the street from the frat house complex. We had to use street lights for lighting and had to white balance to compensate for their color. We used the phone and dialed into telco a for IFB for Dave. I called telco b on my work phone. Dave had a wired earpiece. I haven't had the funds yet to purchase a light or tripod for my HDV sony camera. In the 9 we used my tripod and my sx camera for a light. I set the HDV on the sx cam for a base. If I had adaptors, I could have plugged my sx in directly to the canopus. The lives with the skype looked ok. It would be good for breaking news lives where you couldn't get a truck and were trying to get a report on immediately.
