I went to Wife's Enemy #2. I hooked up the puter to Skype and tested it with the WX Center. JLA took the call and didn't seem enthused. He asked why MTO asked for it. I told him that MTO wanted me to do it if I had time. I started working with Justin.tv. I got a good signal and actally got about 430 Kb/s which ran really well.

I went to an custm car shop on the west side to ask about the connectors for my inverter wires. I was sent to a car stereo shop at 7th street in KCK. I got some connectors for $5.00. The guy there didn't seem to know much of what I was talking about or what I wanted.

I went to YJ's. I got my computer hooked up to Justin.tv. I tried to get flash encoder to work on the windows side. Windows requires a lot of plug ins that don't come with the base software so I couldn't get it to work . I tried DirectX 9 but it wouldn't load. After about an hour and a half fighting with it, I gave up on the crummy windows operating system. Mac is much more user friendly and capable right out of the box. You do get what you pay for but OS X is actually cheaper than windows. You pay more for hardware with Mac, and for the additional software, but in the end, I think you get much more bang for the buck. I started working with Justin.tv. I had to get some help from tech support to try to get the quicktime broadcaster working on unicast so I could try to stream in 16:9. I got a lot of help from a person who was just visiting the site. I got the broadcaster working. It had about a 2 second delay and the quality was middle to poor. If there is a lot of movement it tiles badly. I tried to high quality setting and went beyond the recommended limits set by JTV, which is about 200 Kb/s, but I couldn't get it to stream to the recieve side when I opened my JTV page -- www.Justin.tv.com/stevosvoboda . I headed out to get something to eat and to get Suyen from her work. I streamed on JTV all the way. The best setting seems to just do the quality test and go with that. If you can find a good cell with your aircard, you can get a good stream going. There is still a 5 to 10 second delay, but some of the video can be quite good, though there is usually at least a little bit of strobing.

I went to eat at the Jaywalker Sports bar and grill. I had an angus burger on wheat toast with maters, lettus, mushrooms, black olives fries and a Pepsi. I got hot wings to go. I picked up Suyen at MTN and we went home. We watched TV. I started working on my inverter.
