23:59 -- Shaturday Lori and I went to the Dana Rose farm for a kids run. Then we were sent to a shooting. Jason shot most of the vid. I shot Lori's standup and other vid from the block over. Here is the Story....

The day was frustrating as the phone rang off the hook. I shot enough video for a package on the kids run, and on the vo/sot I was sent on later involving the shooting that took two lives about a year ago on 83rd and Wornall. I was to shoot a vigil. Then I was sent to a vo at a bank robbery at 103rd and Holmes. After all that Paul was unhappy that I wouldn't answer the phone while I was driving the live truck.
I headed homo. Then Suyen and I went to Atchison for a gathering of filipino medtechs. During the gathering, I took the opportunity to go to town to see the goings on during the Amelia Earhart days -- which is a big event.
I went to get a train, but Suyen called me back before I could go. I looked at the sad victim of urban renewal that is downtown Atchison. I came back and et delicious filipino food at the party. I was very unsociable as I was very tard. I watched the games that they played at the party.
Suyen and I went to the old depot to shoot the train that I couldn't get earlier.
Then we watched the fireworks from the railway museum.
Suyen and I faced the traffic out of Atchison and headed homo.
Sonday I woiked 10 to 6 with Bob. We shot a story about the carjackings in Overland Park....

After our lives at the Police Station on 87th in OP, I met Suyen at choich. We then went to YJ's where I woiked on the puter updating the calender. I figured out how to upload it. Here is the calender for Sonday...

9:00 to 9:30 -- Up, dressed. Suyen fixed brekkus of Omelette with beef. I fixed lattes.
9:30 to 10:00 -- Woik via 169
10:00 to 10:30 -- Woik. Got my batteries. Hung out and waited on Bob. He was making calls to try to get a story going.
10:30 to 11:00 -- Bob and I drove to the Overland Park Police department on 87th and Antioch.
11:00 to 11:45 -- Bob and I interviewed the police sergeant about the OP carjackings.
11:45 to 12:00 -- We headed to 104th and Marty
12:00 to 13:00 -- We shot b-roll and interviewed the victim
13:00 to 13:30 -- We headed back
13:30 to 14:00 -- Et at Poco's. I had pork chops with spicy salsa and 3 eggs over easy with a plate of mixed fruit and iced tea. Mary served me. She was really nice.
14:00 to 14:15 -- Back at the station. I batched the video in Avid bay 3 and loaded van 2. Put gas in at Quick Trip.
15:00 to 15:05 -- Edited the story in Avid bay 3.
16:00 to 16:05 -- We went to the liveshot location at 87th and Antioch. Live from the OP police station there. 17:00 to 17:45 -- Done with the live. Tore down. We headed back. I unloaded the van and put it up. Headed out.
18:00 to 18:15 -- I went to Redemptorist. Met Suyen there. Said Hi to Father Shea. Suyen and I went to YJ's.
18:30 to 22:30 -- YJ's We et quiche. We started looking at Hostels. Suyen contacted some of her friends via phone. Micah and all the jazz musicians showed up and played.
22:30 to 22:45 -- Headed homo

This is the view from the 6th floor of the KCK city hall. We were up there on an interview.
The day went pretty smooth until the video gods cursed us during our liveshot. A bad video end on the cable reel screwed us up. So our live for the 9 didn't happen. It was a struggle to get the live on for the 10.

11:00 to 11:30 -- I headed to YJ's. I met Suyen there, so we could go to Town Topic
12:00 to 13:00 -- We et at Town Topic. I had sausage and cheese omelet and kawwffeee. Suyen insisted on having chocolate pie.
13:00 to 14:15 -- YJ's. I set up my two laptops and edited/compressed videos.
14:15 to 14:30 -- headed to woik
14:30 to 15:00 -- I'm with Meagan. We went to Smith Bro's body shop to talk to the owner about KCK apparently wanting to pull it's funding on the Turkey Creek flood control
16:00 to 16:15 -- We shot vid at Turkey Creek. We went to Rosedale to get standups and teases and some vid
16:15 to 16:45 -- We went to YJ's to get kawfeee
16:45 to 17:30 -- We went to KCK City hall to talk to somebody about KCK's position before a budget meeting began
17:00 to 17:30 -- headed back to the station
17:45 to 20:15 -- at station. I edited the package in Avid bay 3. We loaded van 4 and headed out back to Rosedale.
21:00 to 22:15 -- Rosedale to do our lives. A bad video connector on the cable reel sabotaged our 9 live. I spent a lot of time trying to get the cables to work between liveshots. We finally got it on in the 10.
22:15 to 22:30 -- unloaded. Wrote up van 4.
22:30 to 23:00 -- Headed homo
23:00 to 00:00 -- Homo. Surfed and watched teevee.
23:58 -- living room
I woiked with Nancy on Tuesday. We drove up to Filmore, then to Rosendale, then to St. Joseph and then back.

14:30 to 16:00 -- Woik. NLE -- Problem Solver -- no water. We drove to Filmore, Missouri.

16:00 to 16:15 -- In Filmore. We knocked on the door of the office of the rural water district. They are on vacation, so we shot vijumo.
16:15 to 16:30 -- Headed to Rosendale. We found the house that is being built by this couple on the promise that rural water would be built there.
16:30 to 18:30 -- We shot our story
18:30 to 19:00 -- We drove to St. Joseph
19:00 to 19:45 -- We et at Houlihans. Suyen called me to yell at me about my purchasing the WV-F250B camera on ebay for $63.00.
19:45 to 20:15 -- We headed back to the station.
20:15 to 20:30 -- I shot Nancy's standup and tag for her bio
20:30 to 21:00 -- I rewound tapes. I checked my mail. I headed up to do a beat check.
21:00 to 22:00 -- I went to YJ's and had Chi. I updated my calender in my phone
22:00 to 22:30 -- I headed back to woik. Unloaded my stuff. I filled out my timesheet.
22:30 to 22:56 -- Headed homo
22:56 to 23:30 -- Homo -- unloaded my shtuff. I saw Suyen. I looked at the camera -- it appears to WORK!!

9:00 to 10:30 -- up. Tima and I got the Super Boo Boo from Suyen at MTN. I took it to Blue Springs to have the ol changed and the tars rotated.
10:30 to 13:00 -- Went Railfanning. I first went to the area around Rock Creek in Independence, but had no luck and the neighborhoods were too rough to hang out in. I then went to sheffield Junction then the area west of Neff Yard. I caught some locotrol footage.
13:00 to 13:30 -- I went to Surplus Exchange
13:30 to 15:00 -- I went to a laptop refurbishing place in the west bottoms. I got 2g of memory for both laptops, 1g for the titanium and 1g for the 12" ibook for $80.00.
15:00 to 16:15 -- YJ's Snack Cafe. I had chi and a cookie.
16:15 to 17:30 -- I went to get Suyen at MTN. We started to head back homo to take Tima back, but the traffic was so atrocious that we had to turn arount and go back to YJ's.
17:30 to 18:43 -- YJ's Snack Cafe. We both had soy iced latte's and a cookie.

19:05 to 21:20 -- Washed the animules -- gave them fleabaths. I couldn't do Jack, she ran off. We et brats and an omelet.

12:00 to 13:30 -- Up. Got around. Looked for Jack to give her a flea bath but she was in hiding. Then I got the house ready. I set off the bug bomb and left.
13:30 to 14:00 -- I headed to Parkville
14:00 to 16:30 -- Railfanning in Parkville. I met two railfans plus the local National Railroad Historical Society president. Unfortunately, due to gate construction, there were no trains. www.philandersonart.com

17:00 to 18:00 -- Suyen and I went to Grandview. We stopped at the Grandview Price Slopper.
18:00 to 22:30 -- Parents. Had dinner. Suyen rented "The Lady in the Water." I surfed on the puter.
22:30 to 23:30 -- Headed homo. Stopped by MTN to get Suyen's car.
