19:48 -- Shaturday I woiked with Kim oily. We went to the Terri Zenner run. We couldn't get a live out. So, we eventually had to run the tape in. Then we ended up doing vo patrol the rest of the day.
Suyen and I went to Nebraska Furniture mart to look at the fire sales. Then we went to the fashion show at West 18th street.
This is the 7th annual west 18th street fashion show
Sonday came oily yet aggin. I woiked with Kim in Van 1. We went to Belton to do lives on a murder down there. Afterward we ate at the Old Town Cafe. We had omelets for our Adkins. It was delish. Then the rest of the day was vo patrol.
In the evening we went to Choich. Suyen sings in the chior. Then we came home....
We took Tima to the dawg park....
Moanday really made me MOAN. YUCK!!! The cherrybomb wouldn't start with a dead battery. Fritz had to come to try and jumpstart me. With that failing, he drove me in and I am now in the red venturevan. It has been rainy all day and I went homo to eat after shooting vo for one of Phil's "Reaching for Excellence" reports in Happyrock. It was really rainy, and I saw some awesome roll clouds coming in when I got done with my shoot....

Living Room
11:15 -- Rough morning already. I got yelled at by a co-worker who happens to work the car account. He called on my work phone. For some reason it never rang and never listed it as a missed call. That despite the fact that I got a call by accident from the desk. So then, my home cell phone rings. I missed it because I was asleep and it was on vibrate, not ring. So it rings a second time. I hear it at the end. I check the messages. On it was my peer yelling at me that if I wanted his help with my car, then I'd avail myself to him. Now, yesterday, I was told that the car situation would be dealt with at 19:00. Obviously that was a miscommunication. Apparently, it was meant to be 07:00. Actually, my first call came in at 08:30, at least on my home cell. My work cell does not show a missed call, but I assume it was not too long before that. So anyway, one of the messages said in a very rude way that my work cell had been called. So I checked it -- no missed call, but I got a message. I assume that was the first call I recieved. The message was just as terse as the other two. I am just venting here because after I type this, I will not stress out about this any longer. However, if this is the way my peer deals with his daily business, then I do feel like he will be bringing on stress related health problems in his future.
Anyway, the situation got dealt with. The mechanic from Arnonies came in a tow truck and replaced the battery with a new one.

12:07 -- 2'sday things settled down. I woiked with Dave 1st on the Missing HR director from the Kansas City Missouri school district. Then we got assigned to breaking news in Lee's Summit -- a 19 year old man tried to swim across part of Lakewood Lake and didn't make it.

15:02 -- Frustrated. I've been having problems with the G5 desktop. Yestiddy I bought a huge hard drive for it. I had to take one back to Nebraska Furniture Mart after finding it was the wrong one. Then I went to Micro Center. I got a 500 GB one for about 170.00. So I went to install it last night. That went well. But, I can't get the OS to load. I can get the puter to run off the external 160gb hard drive, buuuttttt, it is asking for a password that I don't have to run anything -- SUX. So today, after much consternation, I broke down and went to the "Country Club," er, I mean the crapple store in the kuntry kklub Plah-zuhhhh. I have a 16:00 appointment, if I can find parking. I think I know what' they'll tell me -- you need to buy the OS from us. I think I'll wait 'til puma or kitty cat or pussy or def leppard or watever their new OS will be called next time. I call it the shaft in the rear.
So's now I'm killin' time 'til my appointment -- and later we have tickets to see Garrison Kiellor at Starlight.
On breaking Windsday I woiked with Tess. We went to Belton to talk to Kara Kopetsky's parents. A petition
is being circulated on the internet to take the investigation out of the hands of the police.

Turdsday I spent running around trying to get the G %$#@#$$#@##!!! 5 fixed.
Tiddy I got up, mowed the front -- made the back stinky when I emptied out the mulch out of the garbage can from last week -- UHG! Then Suyen and I went to Town Topic for brunch -- I picked Suyen up at MTN. We had a truck stop without the hash browns. Turns out, that is call an omelet.
Oh well, gots ta run to the crapple store in the "Kuntry KKlub..."

Living room
20:20 -- So's I went to the "Kuntry KKlub." The "genius" who helped me was actually nice. I suspect, however, that they are instructed to not really fix things there, but to push the crapple product line. While I was at the "genius" bar, there were at least 4 machines that people brought in that had "Logic board" problems. Now what is it with Macs and their logic boards. They told me that it was a problem with my logic board and that I need a new one and it will cost $690.00. So after he couldn't get the thing running, I tried one more time and got it running. He says it still needs a logic board. Maybe so. Anyway he gave me a way to get a free download to transfer everything off my external hard drive so I can run it off the computer. He also showed me that the password is no password -- all I had to do was hit enter -- D'oh!. The software is called Carbon Copy. I have to take it home, and .....

I picked up Suyen and we went to YJ's before heading to Starlight...
We went to "A Prarie Home Companion." It was nice. We had a perfect evening for Starlight.
