Lori and I were driving back from our liveshot in Liberty. To avoid a traffic jam on the Paseo bridge, I went across the Missouri on the Cheateau bridge and cut across to the loop via Riverfront road, which afforded me a great vantage of downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

While waiting for the matinee performance of Sinag-tala's "Historia" to end so we could load in, I walked across 12th street to get a picture of the old Folly Theater. This used to be a burlesque theater when this end of 12th street was a seedy collection of old jazz clubs and strip bars. All but this grand old building were torn down in the 1970's to make way for a new hotel and Barney-Allis Plaza. The tearing down of the old reputidly mafia owned strip clubs and rezoning was the spark that initiated what came to be known as the River Quay war that happened from roughly 1975 to 1977.

I stopped at YJ's Snack Cafe at 18th and Wyandotte in Kansas City, Missouri to get some kawfee and some grub and to say HI to Roy. We didn't have a live shot in the 7, so I had some time for brekkus after the late night last night.

Lori and I went to Corinthian Hall, which is the former Long residence on the northeast side of Kansas City, Missouri. Since 1940, this mansion has been the Kansas City museum.

I was sent to a train vs. pickup truck at Kansas and Dennis avenue in Olathe, Kansas. No one was hurt fortunately, but the truck was wrecked.

18th and Wyandotte in Kansas City, Missouri. Today is springlike (temps in the upper 60's) but breezy. The breeze is supposed to bring in snow rain mix tommorrow and old man winter.

We headed to Cargo Largo. We couldn't take the crowds. We went to Crackerbarrel. We et there. It wasn't too bad with the crowds and the food was good and reasonably priced.
