Drove all night, home by 08:00
00:00 to 01:00 -- Drove to Pratt, contemplated a room. Stopped in Pratt to stretch and get pix of the Donalds Serva-Teria googie sign
01:00 to 03:00 -- Drove to Wichita -- stopped at QT -- lots of boogins there
03:00 to 04:00 -- drove to the flint hills -- stopped at the Matfield Green restop to rest
06:30 to 08:00 -- Drove home -- collapsed into bed
08:00 to 12:30 -- Zzzz
12:30 to 18:00 -- We got up and around. Et at Vietnam Cafe. I took Suyen to church for choir practice. I took Tima to the dog park. We then went to church.
18:00 to 22:00 -- YJ's for the Jazz Jam. Streamed it.
22:00 to 00:00 -- Homo. Started working on the puter

Santa Fe to Pratt Kansas -- stayed too late in Santa Fe, drove all night
00:00 to 02:00 -- Mark and I stayed up and talked. 02:00 to 09:00 -- Zzzz 09:00 to 11:00 -- We all got up and around, 3 s' 11:00 to 12:00 -- We et at a nice diner type place called the Flying Tortilla. 12:00 to 15:00 -- We said bye to Russell, as he had to work. Mark took us on a driving tour up into the mountains before he too had to leave for a hair appointment. 15:00 to 00:00 -- We headed for home. In eastern New Mexico the area was so unpopulated that we didn't see cars for 50 mile or more stretches. We stopped on the OK, NM border for gas, the first civilization for over 100 miles. We got some KFC in Liberal Kansas. Halloween was in full swing with the obnoxious teens in costumes and booze.

Toured Grand Canyon Day 2, drove to Flagstaff

09:00 to 10:00 -- We went to the Canyon, got some pix in the morning
10:00 to 11:00 -- Et at Canyon Cafe, it was good
11:00 to 14:00 -- We toured the canyon. We went to the west end by the Grand Canyon Village. It was cold and snowing.
14:00 to 17:00 -- we headed back and left. We drove to Flagstaff. It was dicey because of the snow.
17:00 to 18:00 -- We had coffee at Rendezvous coffeehouse and wine bar. It was attached to a hotel that we decided to check in to. It was the Monte Vista
18:00 to 19:00 -- We et at the Tai restaurant that was part of the hotel. It was really good.
19:00 to 00:00 -- We settled in. Suyen wouldn't let me go down to the bar in the hotel as she was afraid of ghosts.

11:00 to 15:00 -- We toured the canyon's south rim by car. We went back to the Grand Canyon Village.
15:00 to 17:00 -- Grand Canyon Village
17:00 to 18:00 -- Back to the Canyon
18:00 to 20:00 -- We went to the Imax. Suyen locked the keys in the van, had to call a locksmith.
20:00 to 00:00 -- we went back to our room at the Red Feather Lodge

11:00 to 11:30 -- Got gas in Texhoma
11:30 to 12:00 -- Nara Visa, New Mexico. Nara Visa is fairly close to being a ghost town. I got out to stretch and took some pictures. Love the mid-century modern googie motel there.
13:00 to 14:00 -- Nara Visa to Tucumcari
14:00 to 14:45 -- stopped and et at a Stuckies/Dairy Queen on I-40 West of Tucumcari
14:45 to 18:30 -- Drove to Gallup. Stopped in Gallup and et at Earls
20:30 to 23:00 -- Drove from Gallup to our Motel, the Red Feather Lodge at Tusayan -- Checked in.
