Mmmmm, the hungryman omelet....

09:28: Our sinks won't drain and our upstairs terlet runs constantly so I called our home warranty people which is First American. We are set up with a plumbing contractor. I'm done here so now I will go to Cabelas to look for a bipod. The weather is clearing now and the sun is out with blue skies.

10:30 -- Home. First I have to play catchup. I've downloaded the pix out of the camera and found we had four we took from last Thursday. They are of Air Force One when the President came to town and blocked off all traffic on our route.

President Bush was in town to talk about health care in Lee's Scummit. This is a view of Air Force one at the downtown airport from 169. We were stopped by the presidential motorcade.

Suyen shot a glimpse of the tail of Air Force One. She wasn't impressed.

Yesterday after Crave I did go to Cabelas. I was looking at their bi-pods. I am still trying to find ways to better mount the dash camera. After a part time reporter complained that the camera was in her way, I was told to take it down. So now I am trying to figure out a better way of mounting it. I think I will just put it up when I am by myself with my flexible arm I bouthg serveral years agon fro Wolfes. Anything else I try either doesn't work or costs a lot of money, and still doesn't work. I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart and got something meant to hold cell phones, but it did not work at all -- it is too cheaply made and doesn't have the proper flexibility. So Suyen and I went back to take that thing back and to call on the warranty on our fridge.

At noon I picked up Suyen and took her to Warrensburg to the horspital so that she can have a follow up breast examination. We got there early and had some lunch at the Teehaus.

We had the special, which was the pizzaburger. I had a bowl of chilli and spiced tea.

We went to the horspital and I worked on the puter while Suyen had her examination. Having the evdo is nice even though it was slow in the horspital due to spotty service. Suyen came out feeling bummed because they agin found something, and I told her not to worry as she has fibroids and to wait and see what her regular doctor says.

23:35 -- After the burg, we got some pictures for Mark of his trailer. I think the van belongs to the landlord. The windows look busted out. So, Mark, if you get to see these, you might want to go by and check on your trailer....

Then we headed up to massa bates city to check in on our trailer. We got a few things and all seems ok. We visited with our neighbors Ray and James for a bit, then we headed on to Nebraska Furniture Mart.

We went to check on our mobile home in Bates City. It is still there in one piece with no leaks or broken winders. Let's hope it stays that way.

At Nebraska Furniture Mart, we returned the crappy do nothing mount. Then we saw the salesman, Pat, who sold us the LG refrigerator. We told him about the ice maker not working and he gave us the number to call on the warranty. They referred us to LG tech support. The guy there, Joel, was very hard for me to understand on the crappy phone connection. I think he was filipino. He tried to explain to me how to fix the problem myself. There was a language barrier and we didn't seem to understand each other. Everything he tried to explain to me I had already tried. I tried to tell him what was wrong and that we needed someone to look at it. He didn't want to send anyone. Finally Suyen got on the line and chewed him out. What ended up happening was we had the fridge taken back today in exchange for a single door whirlpool which we have now.

I think it looks better as it doesn't try to dominate the kitchen like the LG did and it matches with the black and chrome the other appliances and the theme of the kitchen. Also the doors open all the way and it fits in the space better.

After the fight and spending two frustrating hours at Nebraska Furniture Mart, we went to YJ's for dinner. Suyen who doesn't like the place actually loved the food she was served by Heather, and it turned out to be a very pleasant and healthy dining experience.

Afterward, we headed homo.

Suyen went to woik as usual on Friday. They have not begun the work on the south bound lanes of I-35 yet so she went the normal way, but next Moanday I will have to guide her.

I got up around ten expecting the plumber to come in and the people to deliver the Fridge. The plumber came in around 11 and ran a snake through our drains which fixed the clogged sinks and the clogged drain pipe for the washer. He also replaced the guts in the main bathroom, which is making the terlet there useable -- whoo hoooo!!! Right after he left, the Nebraska Furniture mart people came in and swapped the fridges -- perfect timing.

Then I headed out to my woikplace to pick up my paychecks and to get my arm mount to mount my camera on the dash. It works better than anything I've tried and it takes less room. I don't know why I didn't do it before since the mount is made for mounting things like cameras and lights in wierd places. I then went to Cabelas where I got the walkingstick/monopod/tripod for $53.00. That is a good buy since everywhere else sells lesser versions of this for much much MUCH more. I took Tima with me today with the intention of walking her and shooting a train, but I never got to it. I et at Cabelas their chicken fried steak special -- it wasn't too bad -- kind of cafeteria food though. Then I stopped at Westlake Ace in KCK to get some velcro. I have velcro stashed around but always have to get more at the store because I can never find where I stashed the velcro. Oh well, it's kind of like duct tape -- you can never have too much of it. Then I went to pick up Suyen. We went to Price Slopper off of Vivion to do groceries. Then we met Debbie and Mathew and went to the house. We had a delish dinner that we got at Price Slopper (fried and rotissery chicken). Debbie is the first guest we've had in our new dining room. Then Debbie and I went to the coooooold First Friday art openings in the crossroads. Kansas City showed it's wimpy side tonight as hardly anyone was out braving the weather. I shot some vijumo which I will have to edit later as it is too late to do it now. I got mainly some signs and some architecture as at that time there was no one on the street but us.

Debbie shot this photo with her camera on our cold adventure in the crossroads.

We stopped at YJ's for hot chocolate and listend to some Jazz by Bryan and two other guys. I said Hi to David and told Heather how much Suyen liked her food. Then we went back homo. On the way I realized I never paid David for the hot chocolates, so I will have to do that tomorrow. When we got homo, Mathew was watching "Star Bores episode V -- the umpire strikes back." They headed homo and now I am typing this and getting ready for beddy as tomorrow (today now) is my Moanday;(
