Koplins Coffee in St. Paul Minnesota. After our sucess at parallel parking, a woman asked about our cameras. We told her it was for storm chasing, which she though was cool. She asked where we were from and we told her. She proceeded to tell us about her favorite coffee shop here -- Koplins. She told us she and her daughter drive in 40 miles from a northern suburb just to come here, the coffee is so good. We tried it and we have to agree, it is good, as was the service. There is a nice roaster in the corner. Places that roast their own and know how to do it often make the best coffee joints.

It was closed 'til 11, so we didn't get a chance to stay, so we had coffee and french pastries instead at this great little coffee shop next door. We got to talk to a local band member who was editing video on his apple laptop. You know how that would strike a chord with me. We actually talked to him on camera about the Minneapolis area.
