We got up. The insurance guy came to look at our roof. It is fine. We should get up there and silicone the edges. The Homeowners insurance sent over a guy to work on our sink. He had to struggle with our clog and take all the pipes apart under the sink, but he got it. He said pour boiling hot water after we pour something greasy down the pipes. We et brekkus. Suyen had got some biscuits from HIV. We did our 3 s's . I've decided after my dvd program said my project was too long to divide it into two parts on two dvds. We headed to woik.

I headed to woik. I'm with Dave. I was to do a sports thing, but Dave and I had to head out really quick to Blue Springs to get and interiview with David Cook's 2001 prom date.

We got back to the Station. I started batching in Avid 4 and got some vittles at Trip Quick. I continued batching and editing in Avid 4. I cut the pkg.

Al told me we have no engineers and I have to eng my own liveshot. We have to be in place by 20:45. I finished my package by 19:30, and loaded van 2. I came back in and cut my vo/sot. We were on the road by 20:10.

20:10 - 21:05
We got to our location in Blue Springs -- Side Pockets off of 40 and Mo 7, by 20:36. We set up our live and tried to get a signal. We were in a bad location. Kelly had to come and try to tune us in -- we just barely got a 12 -- minimum is usually 13. We went with it anyway. By that time we were in the break leading into the announcement of the American Idol winners. We were expected to shoot the reaction of the local crowd live to be linked back to LA. We rushed around and got the video working just in time to get the shot. Afterward we only had 90 seconds to our live hit for the 9. My phone was ringing incessantly but I could not answer it -- it only served as a distraction to what I was trying to do. I realized we didn't have any of the audio hooked up in the truck, so I rushed back to hook that up. I had to keep locking doors as there was no one by the truck to watch it and I was one man banding my live. When I got back to my camera position, I found out there was no audio. So I ran back to the truck to try to figure out what was wrong -- I looked and all the connections, which were fine and found that whoever had the truck before me had turned everything down or off, so in my hurry I had to locate all the settings and fix them. We missed our intro hit, but got our tag hit in the package. Afterwards Al and I talked on the phone about the problem. I told him I did my best under the circumstances.

We hung out and waited for our 22:15 live. The bar people wanted to shut the doors to the place as the cold air was coming in, so we got our camera and cable back to the van. at about 21:45, be brought the camera and cable back into the bar for the 22:15 hit. Our 22:15 hit was uneventful. We then tore down and headed back. It was 22:40 when we started head back. We got back, I unloaded and gassed the van and put stuff up and headed to pick up to Suyen at her woik.

I got Suyen and we headed to Steak N Shake for vittles.
