TKO -- haunted house auditions

The building is an old John Deere Headquarters. It housed offices on the first two floors and it stored tractors on the upper floors. Obviously the building had to be built robustly and had to have hellacious elevators to do the job, which we were told are still in existence. The office area is beautiful with hard wood and tile. They said the tile is the same as that which was put in the Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs. The office floors are in good repair and are used for the haunted house offices and to greet people. As far as I could tell the people who have operated the haunted house since 1975 are taking good care of the building and are not making major modifications. The upper floors house various haunted house themes that have been built in. I'm sure if the haunted house stuff wasn't there, the floors would be open wharehouse space.
