I worked with Monica today on a story about a tourbus accident north of Springfield Missouri involving elderly members of local churches.
On the way back from our liveshot in Englewood in Independence, I snapped this picture of the lights.
Englewood in Independence is such a nice area especially when they put the Christmas lights up.

After dropping Suyen off at MTN, I went to the Harvey House in Union Station to have breakfast. On the way in I got this pic of the great house in the station, all decked out for the holidays.
When people said they would meet under the clock, they meant here in the entrance to the main waiting room in Union Station in Kansas City Missouri.
Every year for the past couple of years, they have set up a g scale model railroad in Union Station.

Our Christmas set up for the 2006 season.
Do you notice the starburst clock? It looks nice in our living room.
These are our lazy animules. Man, watching Steve & Suyen decorate for Christmas is tiring.
After working this morning from 6 to 2 -- first time in over a month with Kim, Suyen and I went to one of her co-workers Christmas party.
After the party we went to YJ's where we had delish middle eastern food for din din. Then we headed home where we attempted with poor results to take some christmas photos with "our children."
After our attempt at herding cats didn't go over so well, we tried just a simple (ha ha) portrait of both of us and the tree. Notice the ornaments on the tree. I've been buying those Hallmark keepsakes all year as they are just about the right size for "n" scale and cheaper than model railroad stuff. Oh, and they make great (ahem) ornaments too. Do you notice the modern house on the bottom there? That is actual "n" scale.
This is the same night. I just decided that darker colors were better for my rotund boodah form.
