01:09 -- Happy Cinco de Mayo. While I think about the respect I have for the many Mexican immigrants I've met and the rich culture that they have brought to our shores, I do wish that a solution can be found to the illegal immigrant situation. I believe enforcing laws against hiring illegals while making a working guest worker program can be a start towards a solution. People who want to work and contribute to society and play by the rules should be welcome. Those who just want to take without giving should be shown the door. Today, er, I guess, yesterday, we got caught up on some things. First of all, the jet lag with the medicines we are taking took it out of us. I had a late live in Lawrence on Wednesday, and so I didn't get to bed until 03:45. I didn't get up until after 14:00. I know, I'm a bum. I got up and mowed the lawn and weedeated. I got to talk to our neighbor, Ray. Finally our lawn looks somewhat civilized. I like to mow. After being gone for two weeks and all the rain, it was looking like we abandoned the place.

13:15 -- We couldn't get to sleep last night, probably due to the fact that we are still used to Philippine time. We got up around 10ish this morning which is an improvement. We are kinda bummin it today. Suyen is watching her favorite on tv --- EEeeeeeee!!!!

13:43 -- I've started posting pix from our October vacation and stuff to my Mac account since I'm not using that for anything else.

17:01 -- it is now past five o'clock and I've done nothing but stare at this computer all day. I'm getting square eyes. I'm going out to first Friday and Cinco de Mayo now.
